Is there a silencer in the Airbox?

Ok guys I did a search but I couldn't come to a straight conclusion. Does the airbox have a silencer in it to prevent the blower from whining? Is the blower also a twin screw?

Yup, Supre is right.

Only reason you don't hear the blower so much like other cars is the engine is pretty much sealed from the outside. If you remove the plastic section of the hood near the windshield, ohhhhhh you'll hear it then.

Jim,

Why did they boot your update thread? Does not look good for BlueMax. Speeding history (120mph in a 75 zone, etc.), drugs in his system............................................ ...............................=BAD

Thanks for the link!

It seems if you remove the plastic vent/insualtion under the hood that you will be getting a lot of water in the wrong places..

Second, the Lyshom S/C is a very high quality machined unit with some of the tightest tolerences of any super charger.. That alone will equate to a nice quiet running part.. You want more sound, turn the blower faster and keep adding HP mods! Don`t flood the secondary firewall with water ,, just for sound..

It was in a 45 mph zone. I am an attorney here in Phoenix and from what I understand he is in serious trouble both from a criminal and civil standpoint.
