I was trying to get heat in the tires so it would hook! After seeing the first pass, the ATCO worker in the staging lanes told me to keep going during the burnout. I still cant believe I had the trans in winter mode LOL Thanks for all your help btw I think when your car is together it will be VERY fast!

Sorry sir, no times worth reporting. I did alot of spinning and a couple monster burnouts, that's about it (2 passes). All I can say is when I get it to hook and not break anything it will put down some nice numbers.

I had a good time today watching you spin the drag radials 150' and then Again at half track it was impressive to see but doesn't make for a good E/T.

I was really suprised to look up into my rear view mirror and still see you somewhat keeping up with me at 150mph, but after that you were gone. I would be interested to see what that big sedan can top out at. I ran my Black Series up to about 194 on that stretch of road before having to shut down for that turn I think you need to talk to Wayne or someone about having your top speed limiter removed

Are you planning on attending Route 66 tomorrow night? I think it might be a little on the warm side, so I might wait until next week.

I got up to 173 according to my gps radar and then i let off....but i felt it had more

I think I just found out where the 63 is far superior to the 55...top speed runs. I just assumed you bounced it off of the top speed limiter because one second you were kind of hanging with me and the next second I was 500-600 plus feet ahead of you...either that or you got scared (?). Those 55's must hit a wall at 165 or so, my car was still pulling pretty hard at 190 plus when I shut down and I was not even using the bottle. These 63's have some legs on the big end.

I may sit out tomorrow night as well, looks like it's gonna be another scorcher of a day weather wise tomorrow, no ned to go beat on my car for nothing. Let's shoot for the following Tuesday (the 9th I think).

The guy with the camera was in a C32, I don't think he was able to keep up...not sure if he really wanted to try to keep up either and I don't blame him.

i only made few runs cuz i had to leave early

best run was 13.0 at 112 mph.

i couldn't, as well as Wayne and Jerry (both driving my car), get under 13 seconds due to mostly heat soak and not the best of track prep.

i believe everyone's run was at least 2/10th slower than last event.

I was there in the C32. Couple of observations:

1. Wayne is a Class Act, end of story!!

2. Read # 1 again!!

3. The track was not the best for times. My C32 was spinning like Jimmy's BS when we arrived into his cloud of smoke at the entrance. You ought to hear his car at full throttle. Its like the space shuttle taking off from Cape Canaveral. Even the lowly C32s were wanting for traction.

4. No One was getting any decent traction. To tell the truth, when Jimmy ran SASA's car, all she did was spin, spin and more spin. I got it on vid. He's got the oats for sure, he needs the traction. Problem, we waited too long to start tracking em. It was getting hot and was almost 11:00 when we started really running em. Its a long haul there from Chicago. Rte 66 or Great Lakes anyone????

5. My temp gauge showed 92 degrees at 1:00 PM and we had high humidity. Cooler temps would bring times down substantially.

I have it Jimmy, let me get Jerry to upload it!!! I could have kept up on the road easily, since all you were doing was spinning!!! I got the race with the E55 as well from the light (on vid). Don't discount us C32s, we may not have the power , but we are lighter!!
