You may not hear back and that would be a good sign for Ted.
Dude, sorry to hear for you. Do what you need to. I know California laws are pretty specific. Not too many malcom fans here...

Huracan. S63. CL63. E55.
Guess I was that sucker...I wish I knew about this forum before I bought this car. If I had known it had been trough this kind of abuse, I NEVER would have bought this car. I bought the car for $35K plus travel expenses. I drove it from MD to CA. Malcolm is now no longer communicating with me, In fact today he lectured me for calling his shop and after telling them to let him know I will get an attorney involved he called me back saying the reason for no response was that he just had surgury and is recovering. After I asked him why he told me the car was only raced a handful of times and ran consistent 11.40's and that I now know it was raced a hell of alot more than that with nitrous and running mid 10's, he hung up. I sent him another email to both his email addresses I have 2 hours ago and am going to see if he responds. Any comments, information, or pictures/videos of this car will be much appreciated from any of you that have this on Malcolm, his shop, or this car. If he tries to make good on this I will keep the car, if not I guess I will proceed with suing him.
Dammn, very sorry to hear that...I hope everything gets resolved. This Malcolm guy seems like a real a-hole

thanks for the comments everyone...I am giving him until monday to respond, if no response, I will contact the MD DA who I am sure will love to hear this. I've printed all the emails to and from him, the ebay auction, and the wire tranfers to him. I even have an email from him in August telling me he paid the car off...when I went to pick up the car last month he told me that WFS hadn't sent him the lien release. I then find out this morning after finally calling WFS that he is $1800 behind in payments and that he still owes 16K on the car!!!!!!!! After reading all the posts on him, and now my experience, I now believe he IS a crook too!!! I sold two other cars to buy this car, and know wonder what is really on the car and what is not??

Contact eBay ASAP! It might be too late, but they do have insurance on eBay motors for this type of stuff. They hired an attorney for me a few years ago on a dealer purchase gone bad (they owed another dealer for it at auction) & eBay ended up giving me a $20k payout (which was their max), rather than fighting it out in court.
Of course this whole process from beginning to end took around 9 months from the date of purchase, but being out 7k instead of 27 was a good thing.

Sorry friend, but you got screwed.
BTW Ahmad, I was masterful in the way that I implicated you in the Malcom scam.

Speaking from personal experience,he is a crook...he beat me out of about $6500.00 and lied about building my car.He also beat a friend of mine out of $5000.00 and messed up his new 2007 997 Porsche.

I talked to two members on the phone today and one yesterday...thank you all and keep the PM'es coming. Also talked to: Catonville MD District Court, MD Attorney General's Office, Baltimore County MD State's Federal Court, MD FBI, and MD MVA. I have downloaded and printed all the documents necessary to proceed with wire fraud, fraud, and misrepresentation. Most of the offices had some great information!!

Wow! Check this out guys. After doing a google search for MD judiciary case search the following came up on him:
Malcolm Lonesome (49 times he was sued ) High Tech (Boyz, Auto Diagnostic, Service Center..all the same Liberty Road address) 23 times sued, and his original business Two Tuff Techs 6 times sued!!
How do people like this continue to operate a business, much less stay out of jail?!?!?!?!?!?!

Here are the pictures you requested Ronnie of the E55 I got from Malcolm and my 653 RWHP 08 Shelby GT500. I have almost 20 cars in my collection total and I bought the E55 to be a daily driver..what a disaster that ended up being. Sorry I am not the photographer you are!! Happy Holidays everyone!!

Does anyone know what the car is supposed to have on it? I saw it today and even got to drive it and I'm thinking some parts are gone. If the ad said 58xrwhp, then something is up. I saw kleeman headers, pulley, and evosport water pump pulley. But, it looked like a stock TB and had the MB OEM tune. There was definitely no added cooling and the pump was an OEM bosch.
I'm curious if malcolm stripped some of the parts (cams, lsd, etc.) or if it just never had them on it.
Jamusa, any chance you can elaborate on how he took your $$ and you have no recourse? I am not talking smack to you, just trying to get a better perspective on this guy's MO. It really blows my mind that he can "scam" money and not have to get on the run. he still operates his shop and lives at his residence, so there must not be any law after him.
Is it just that this becomes a civil matter and most end up letting it go? All these law suits and no settlements or outcomes? I want to know if I can somehow get in touch with those people and get some finder's fee for getting any of their $$ back. I feel like Dog the bounty hunter for doing this, but I feel a trip to Clayton's house is in order.

Lets just say the guy did not do what i paid him for,and after careful scrutiny of his work......i saw where his work was not that of a professional, but a shade tree mechanic....It was after Ted"s problem that i scrutinize his work, and found out that i had been had.He even remove my johnson s/c pump ,claimed that it was bad, then turn around and sold it to Ted.Ican keep going ,but it would take all nite. The way i feel about it ,is that sooner or later it will catch up to him,a.
