Bumping an old thread for some info:

Does the V2/Programa ELM or STAR method remove the additional lowering at high speed function? I want to be able to set my ride height and make sure the car stays at that level, regardless of whether I am parked, doing +70MPH, or whatever.

As far as keeping it at the height you set it at parked. yes it won't change. and far as i know, i've never been able to tell with my V2 at rolling speed if it lowers or not.

The easiest way to prevent "extra" lowering is to stay out of "comfort" mode. Sport 1 & sport 2 don't lower any more at speeds above 69mph.

I have the factory algorithm diagram saved that shows each mode pretty clearly and I'm pretty sure I found it on this forum a few weeks ago.

That's a bummer. I enjoy driving in comfort mode around these city roads. To have it stiffened up all the time kinda ruins the point. I hope there's a way to just disable the speed/sport dependent lowering. Also, would you mind sharing the diagram?

Here you go:

As you trace the various settings you will notice that if you are in a lowered mode (Like Sport1/Sport2: The -15mm setting on this chart) there is no additional adjustment made for ride height regardless of speed.

Hope that helps.

sorry to bring this back to life, but when some of you installed your ELMv2/Programa, did you encounter some of the instructions being off? When inserting the pin from the ELM into the air ecu, i noticed that the color did not match the pin they were talking about. example, pin23 wasnt brown, mine it was green or something.

after the install, my e500 wont raise. It only stays low. The remote doesnt do anything

Why won't the pictures display on the original post? I'd love to use this guide, and the pictures would be a lot of help. Why aren't they available anymore?

I had my 07 E63 lowered with Star, but it would be nice to be able to raise and lower my car at will. I could have went lower but risk blowing an airbag, if I were to hit a big pothole

Quoting an older post I know.

The pics aren't showing because this thread was originally posted in 2008. The pics were hosted on Photobucket and were deleted at some point.

This. I have a Programa ELM that's waiting to be installed. My indy guy just hasn't had time to do it on the side yet and I'm sure he'd like some pics showing how to do it.
