As matter of fact my rears are down to the cords, I need to get new rear tires tomorrow.

I have Thursday open.
Where is the LOVE for the 65's???

Dynojet has optical sensor that uses a piece of reflective tape on the crankshaft to read rpm. Pulley has to be cleaned off and tape precisely positioned for it to work.

It is somewhat of a hastle, but worth the trouble.

I am also working on 65 thread, it will be up shortly.

It's 10pm here in the midwest, some of us are going to be staying up waiting for this thread, so no pressure or anything

Maybe it's just me, but when I come to this W211 E55 forum, I like to read about stuff related to the W211 E55. If I want to read about stuff related to V12s, and I occasionally do, I go to the SL, S, or CL forums. Doesn't this post and thread belong in those forums? Can the administrators move this thread to where it belongs?

Don't get me wrong, I love what you guys are doing in developing products, but if we're going to have all of these specific forums on MBWorld, I would at least expect a Board sponsor to post their advertisements and announcements for products and developments in the sub-forums to which it relates, so we can keep this E55 forum focused on E55 stuff.

Is that supercharger whine I am hearing....

I am not sure what should be done. It seems that everyone uses the AMG W211 forum (E55's and E63's) to post performance mods. I think people got tired of posting things for engine mods for V12TT's in 6 different forums the CL, SL, S forums for both regular and AMG models. I agree it shouldn't be here...but it seems to have become the de facto performance forum. I personally don't mind...and the traffic around here lately hasn't been huge to be a problem for W211 users.

If you hear a whine, you're hearing . . . victory.

I don't know the answer either, but it's kind of annoying to having all this off topic stuff in the E55 forum. It's kinda like when you go to a concert, you want the artist to perform his or her music, and not give the audience their political viewpoint. Not what I came for.

It's the same here. When I come to the E55 forum, I want to read about E55 stuff, not the latest non-E55 related product some vendor is hawking today. It's okay for a vendor to peddle their E55 stuff here, because it's relevant to the E55. I would think you CL guys would want to sponsors to direct their products for your cars to your fourm.

And the fact that an E63 is also a W211 chassis and belongs in this forum has what to do with vendors promoting their V12 related products here?

In your two previous posts you keep calling it the "E55 Forum"....just making sure you knew it was for E63's as well...

It's worse at a concert. You don't have the option of not clicking on what doesn't interest you.

I surrender - I've been outvoted by four coupe owners that want to hang with with the cool W211 AMG guys.

To be honest, even though I now have a V12TT (had an E55), I still come here more often for answers. This is where a great deal of knowledge lies (no offense to other V12 owners!).

HAHAHA Good one. I actually agree with you and I have a CL65. I could not understand why this thread was not at least also posted in the CL AMG forum?

Dammit Vadim, have you been posting your political viewpoints in these threads again?
