FI is the great equalizer, potential HP/TQ isn't based on the cylinder heads or displacement (as when N/A) just the size of the turbo/blower itself.
My point was simply you can't compare any modded car to any stock car, the difference is even greater when pitting a modified FI vehicle v a N/A stocker.

Actually it was bone stock, but thanks for attempting to comment on something you know nothing about.

Well, I guess it would have been perfectly Ok for you if you had won? Noone forced you to buy a N/A car, right? So why whining now? A win is a win, a loss is a loss, no matter what the opponent's car has under hood.

I happened to make a factual statement, you attempted to comment on a situation of which you have/had no knowledge whatsoever; my car was 100% stock down to the charcoal filters. You mentioning the 200%+ difference in displacement as an excuse for FI was just icing on the cake.
Might want to brush up on your RC skills, you'll never find me whining anywhere, and I destroyed the 335i I raced as I posted above.
If I wanted a 335 I think it's safe to say I could've had one--obviously I didn't.
BTW, what do you think happens when you twin turbo a 6.2/4v?

A priori, you don't know what mods he's got, just like he does not know what you've got. It is a fair race. If you go for it, do not look for any excuses. That was my point, if it is not clear.

Your own words: "I love it when a modded FI car runs up against a stock N/A vehicle, and the owner thinks he's hot ****".

It says quite clearly in the linked thread that the C63 was stock and had a passenger and the 335i was modded/solo:
i have a AFE intake, SSTT and was running quarter of a tank of GT100 100 octane straight.
also on 18's and im a AT e92 335i, i was by myself.

...and again I easily won my race so...LOL, anything else?

Reading the E90 post I dont think the owner was hot sh^t. I think he was just excited that he was able to keep up with you... I am sure we all would be doing the same on our respective boards if the shoe was on the other foot... And your absolutely right in comparing any modded car to a stock car... its like apples and oranges... You have a great car... have fun with it!

from 40 to 110 its a good pull .. but not enough to see the true potential of both cars..
there is no kill involved in this story...
"LET's not bring the my car cost $45k, your car is $65k" argument...
nobody disrespects the capabilities of a twin turbo engine.. Ford is about to unleash a 3.5 TT and hopefull MB sticks to their word about FI cars.
For now.. BMW has the leg up with Fuel Effiency and Power capabilities...

When comparing 6s, I'd agree, when comparing top of the line performance segment engines (5.0L V10 v 6.2L V8) I have to disagree. There's simply so much potential left in a 6.2 it's not even funny. You can only do so much with 5.0L that already spins past 8000rpm.
