No plans to import these to North America for the masses, but I have done some investigating and found several people that will import them brand new to the states. They claim it is a bit easier that importing a passenger car becuase they do not need to have same crash test ratings as a passenger vehicle due to their GVW. I have found several Unmogs in the area for sale used, but not the model I would be interested in. Some of the older ones from the 80's look pretty cool as well, I could see picking one of those up and making it a project vehicle. It appears they can be had brand new for anywhere from $75,000-$115,000 depending on model, trim leven and engine option.

My wife's father used to import them and sell them. I believe they have to be 20 or 25 years old in order for them to be sold in the US. He owned a few modified ones as well. Took us hill-climbing in one. They are pretty much unstoppable. Tons of fun...

Never heard of them being allowed in the states brand new unless they are getting around it by classifying them as "Agricultural Equipment"....
