Ok...I know the link is to an SL thread....but the guy giving out advice just insulted pretty much everyone of us MB owners who take our cars to the drag strip (which includes a huge amount of E55/E63's). Is it just me or does this guy just not get it.

that guy is just retarded. Who the hell ares about R/T unless you are bracket racing.
I am someone who does try to work on my r/t a little, but my times are not any different wether I hit it at the last yellow or sit there for 2-3 seconds before slamming my gas pedal.
He is smoking something and its not anything I want!

Yup, it's just braggin rights at test n tunes like we do.
You could literally have a reaction time of 60secs if they didn't kick you off the track for sitting there that long and then run 10.9 once you punched it.

I'm not affraid to admitt that I'm a part time drag racer, and that my car is built for road racing, but my car is idiot proof. I'm confident my grandmother could run a 11.50 in my car, it is honestly that easy....this guys seems like a tool, what's his excuse?
