I like the rumble in the first video. Any noticeable gains in performance?

I too like the first vid ALOT...
BUT
the second one might be a lil too much...
I understand that you can change it on a whim...but I personally think that the first one is perfect...
Just my 2 cents...

agreed first one sounds good but second one sounds like your car is an american POS - where did you place the cutouts?

Where do you have your cutouts? It sounds like its too close to the headers.
It sounds exactly like when I had my broken headers...![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
The best spot is after the resonators/before the mufflers(Sound), but then again, you have straight pipes...

i understand that it is not for everyone but I think that with the cutouts closed it sounds AMAZING...... with the cutouts open, like jtc55 said, It is LOUD and sounds like a real drag car!!! The cutouts are right after the headers and melted away the plastic underneath the car at the track day!!! But for everyday i really cannot stand the sound of the open cutouts because it is a mercedes and has a certain class that no other luxury sports car has. But, saying that, when my car was at hot import nights, it turned EVERYONES head. People thought it was a full blown race car and turn around to see its a mercedes!!!
