JANGY Lost His Sticky, Now He's Getting Bored and Delusional
I figured I'd help him get back on the road to recovery with his very own new thread.
It seems Jangy's big mouth is writing a check his a$$ can't cash...again. It appears he is thinking that there is no 63 powered MB (mine in particular) that can beat his all mighty E55 in a 1/4 mile drag race. He has challenged (on another thread) me to a money drag race
I am going to gladly oblige, but I want to make this interesting for everyone. We need to pick a drag strip that is somewhere between he and I (San Diego-Chicago) or just do it at the MIR event in November. In addition to Jangy's wager I am also willing to take on any additional "side bets" up to $500.00 each, from any of you MB World members that are also as delusional as Jangy.

Of course I am...my car is a work in progress. It would be in Jangy's best interest to do this race sooner rather than later. I have an entire list of mods that have already been purchased that are "on their way" Jangy is aware of these additional mods but I will post them up for all to see, just so we keep things above board.
PST carbon fiber drive shaft 6.9 pounds including slip yokes and joints (next week)
Carbon fiber OEM AMG DTM Seats 13.5 pounds each. (hopefully this week)
MHP Thermalnators (this week)
MHP TCU tune hopefully this week)
Evosport crank pulley (this week or next)
I expect the following mods no later than 2-3 months from now
Heads
Cams, valves and springs

Updated ECU tune

You can put money on me if Jangy is willing to cover your bet, but I can't speak for him and what he is or is not willing to wager. AlL I know is that he challenged me to a money race, he has not even named his price yet, but I have a feeling I can cover it.

Because that would not be a wise business decision, Jangy's car is worth about 1/3 of what mine is. Even money is the only way to go with this, I will go for any amount of $$$ he wants, the ball is in his court.

Just to be clear, I didn't challenge you to a drag race, per say. I challenged you to race. We can do it on a drag strip or in your back yard.
Why on earth would I ever list my mods or my tuning efforts? My car was at Fontana and barely brke 12.5 so what's the worry?

Dude, you don't want any part of his B.S. in anything BUT a drag race. If there are no rules on mods, the winner will be the one with the biggest ***** (and wet shot). In the twisties, you're screwed no matter what.

You can carry my NOS bottle in your car if you want, I don't need it to beat you. My car still runs 11.4's on motor only, verified by a handfull of guys on this board who saw watched me re-intall my bottle AFTER my 11.4 pass. If you don't believe me you can ask them yourself.
It is obvious you bit off more than you can chew here.
