I am closing in on a year of ownership with my M6 and as ItalianStallion wrote, its a real involving experience that will keep you coming back for more.

I also own a fairly modded 997TT and I still miss my M6 even when I am blazing down the road in the turbo.

There is something to be said about driver involvement and 10 roaring cylinders injecting at over 1000 times per second. The exhaust note in stock format is exceptional along with the brake and steering feel.

I always appreciate the passion in write-ups like this. However, we should all remember not to let individuals (who are often grease-offs) dictate what direction we go in life. It's kinda like some clown cutting you off in the morning, or someone who is rude to you ruin your day. Is it ever worth it, usually not, never...
A better option would have been to say "hey, thanks for working with me, I'll be in touch." Then, come back with your shiny new M5 (purchased somewhere else) and say, "remember, me? I have to go driving now..."

As good as that may feel it is still a waste of time.
