C300 Runs on E85?
So, my car has been at SDMB since the 5th of this month. They just can't seem to figure out what is wrong with the fuel pump/s or the relay. I am frustrated but in their defense they do know about the extensive mods on my car and they are totally cool with it!!
Anyway, back on track. I have a 2008 C300 sport as a loaner car and I just found out today that the car can fuel up with E85, it says so right on the fuel door. So I went to a station here in SD and filled up with it. At first the car seemed like it was going to stall but then it was just fine.
Did anyone know that Mercedes was doing this?

MBWorld Fanatic!
plus at that age claims are very rarely accepted. Plus hes modded too!
Sometimes its just hard to get parts out of MB. I had a car in the shop for 52 days once waiting for half shafts from Germany. I just told them throw my cover over the car and call me when its fixed.

The lemon Law stuff would be hard to prove but I think if I really pushed MB to fix the car and they were not able, I may be able to negotiate some sort of deal.
I joked with them to take my car in and swap me the white CL65 in the showroom, I don't see what the problem would be??
I like the E85 deal. its only $3.35 a gallon and the car seems to run just fine.
