My car only ran twice...once with Jason at the helm...once with me. Jason took the car out first with drag radials he cut a 1.714 60'...on his way to an 11.403 @ 121.59mph. The DA was about 200ft using the dragtimes calculator.
With me at the helm I cut a 1.730 60' on to an 11.499 @ 119.57mph. The DA jumped up to 430ft in just 37 minutes between runs. I had some issues with some bolts on the drag radials and called it a day.
I wasn't able to get a tune on Saturday by LET, as they tuned 5 cars that day and the dyno shop closed up after the 5th.
I think some other people had some issues...but I don't want to speak for them. There were a bunch of cars there (about 30). Jamie Furman brought out his brand new (190 miles) Viper ACR. I think he was able to trap 130mph after he took the wing off. Everything was stock...down to the tires (only because the Michelin Pilot Sport Cups come stock). A GT-R ran but seemd to hit 12.2-12.3 @ just under 118mph. Judging by his launch...he wasn't testing Nissan's warranty on the launch control. It was fun...even with my bolt drama.

I'm guessing the ACR didn't run in the 10's?

I can't talk too much smack to the zen master...I am borrowing his drag radials. I think it can launch even harder. With a proper tune I think 10's are definitely in sight...not bad for just BMC filters and an CM030 pump as the other mods. Got to love the V12TT's....
Jamie said that it felt like it was faster than his Z06. Maybe the engine will loosen up a bit and when the weather cools it should hit 10's.
I don't want to talk for anyone else on here...some people were very happy with their times....others were disappointed with mechanical problems...and others were indifferent. Wow...I should go into politics...I said alot there...without saying anything of value...

Jamie actually ran a best of 11.07 in his ACR Viper. He will crack 10's soon.
I think I broke my diff on the first pass On that pass I came out the hole going sideways, let off and got back on it, went sideways again, let off and got back on it and bounced off the rev limiter in second gear a few times, then finally started going straight. Still trapped 120mph. When turning off the track I heard the clunking from the diff. It only does it when making right hand turns. Guess its time for a new diff.

Great times! Was a beautiful day. Unfortunatly it did warm up to about 80 or a little above by the afternoon, which is funny since I ran my best times at around 2 pm.
My best for the day and personal best times were made today. My best run was 12.14 @ 115.37
Very happy with that. i will post my best 3 slips from todays events in the fastest 63 thread for all to see.
Again thanks Ahmad for putting this together. Caint wait til its a bit cooler in November!

When are you getting the GT-R to the track? I can't blame the dude for not wanting to use launch control...but I was a little disappointed in the times (an interesting time we live in where people are disappointed in cars that run low 12's in the high teens right off the showroom floor).

the track down here is closed, I'll be there when it opens.... there should be some middle ground for the GT-R between launch control and launching from idle..... right now, those are the two options, you can not power brake the car at all, if you try, the car holds back and you run slow....
What is funny is that I saw the 11.07 @ 129.83 run....but I guess I was fixated on the trap speed and didn't notice the 11.07..

I don't know... I saw his first two runs which were 12.2X and 12.3X both under 118mph. But I wasn't watching the whole time so he may have given he could have easily improved his launches. It was pretty sweet looking in that grey color...was that gun metal grey?

a little over a year ago i got the Renntech ECu tune, a few months back I got the VRP CF airbox and recently changed my exhaust from the 2.75 to 3" pipes and deleted the secondary cats.
I think because of some fo these changes I need to have my car retuned since my tuning was done before these minor mods. I think with a new tune my numbers would have been lower.
I would consider getting atune from you all but your price tag is a little out of my league at the moment.
Maybe with it colder in November compared to the 80 degree day we had here today I will see some faster times next month
