2004 E55 AMG, 2006 Pontiac GTO
took the e55 to the track

took it to the track for the first time. I really need to learn how to launch the car! I only got to make 3 runs for time trials since it was RSD last night at GLD.

Here is the best run

r/t .070
60- 2.546
1/4- 13.001
mph- 110.65

On PS2 with T/C on

But on a better note raced a buddies 11.0 GNX heads up, off the tree and held him off till the 1000ft and he had me by 5 cars at the end. But what sucks is I know that launch was the best I had all day but they turn off the clocks after 8pm so who knows? He has the vid so soon as I get it ill post it up.

off Idle, on pilot sport 2's, and the track was pretty slick. Unless a car was on a full slick you were not going to hook up

what happened on that run? 2.5 60 foot is very poor. with a half way decent 60 foot of a 2.0 which is common enough your car would have run 12.0@115ish. (every 1 tenth of your 60 foot is 2 tenths in the 1/4) Just get some practice and your times will drop dramatically. Drag racing is not as easy as it seems. GL at the track!

This may be one of the worst runs ever for a supercharged E55.

You either are a terrible driver, have a slow car, or a combo of both...

you are funny. If you knew anything about drag racing you could see that a 2.5 sixty sucks and it still ran a 13 flat. How about this ill meet you at a track of your choice and blow your doors off with my american junk. lets put a 1000 dollar wager on it?

Mirz,

More than likely your car's IC pump is bad, and you need more practice drag racing. GLD is not the greatest track, but it's not a 2.5 60' track.

You should have done cooling before an LET tune.
