e55 vs c6

lol NO not a racing video but a quick question.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my maxima , so i'm thinking of getting either a c6 or a e55 , really like both , i know it's 2 very different cars but , if any one had experience with both , please share your thoughts , thanks .

P.s. Getting a bluetec or cdi Ml next week instead of the ml500 , if anyone knows any good dealers around NY , NJ let me know, thanks

I've driven both cars a good amount and highly suggest the E55. I'm not biased at all, I just think for the price, power, and luxury the E55 takes the cake. Now, if it were a C6 ZO6, it may be another story.

The two cars are very different, so it's really going to boil down to what you want to use the car for and what you expect to get out of it as well.

Get the E55. It's luxurious, fast, you can carry your friends, quality made, you won't be running into another one every block or two, has a trunk, etc. The Vette is fast and that's about all it has going for it. Definitely are cheaply made vehicles, just look at the interior. They are a dime a dozen!

I had a C6 for 2+ yrs fun as hell outlaw feeling when modded & very fast, but only as a 2nd car anymore than an hour behind the wheel @ a time will leave you feeling like you were trapped in an oil drum w/monkey beating on the lid.

Stock for stock E55k will beat it 9/10 times due to many factors ie manual tranny driver ability, & worst fact C6 oem runflats are horrible/need immediate replacing w/quality tires.. I could go on but why? get the 55k only w/warranty or you'll wish to god you hadn't....So in summation E55k w/warranty = over a stock C6 as a daily driver...

Just edged out a C6 on way home from work yesterday. Do you really want to get beat by a quiet little car like the E55?

E55 hands down - the C6 will rattle apart for long rides and drive you crazy in the long run - make sure the E has the massaging/drive dynamic seats!

I had a bad *** run in with a c6 a couple weeks back in the 03 e55.. he was edging on me. the driver was real good!!!! every time he shifted the vette shot forwards a couple inches... i'm guessing he didn't let off the gas while shifting

my e55 is not a daily driver but a post on this forum shows just about every e55 owner on here daily drives their e55..

I'd be curious to the answers you got from a c6 forum.

So very wrong.

Just on my drive home today, through Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties, I counted 4 Vette's (C5 and C6) and 15+ E class (W211 only) Merc's, I stopped counting at 16... And I was only in Irvine.

Depends on where you live. I see Vetts everywhere around here, but rarely see ANY AMG cars.

the thing is , c6 z06 used, are priced pretty good compared to an early model e55k. the question should be c6 z06 or e55k.. aint nothing cool about a regular old vette

So very worng in your opinion. Her in VA beach I have seen 0 E55's. I do see a couple W211 E classes but they are not as abundant as a vette. Three people have C6's and 1 with a C5 Z06.

In my hometown in Michigan, well you mine as well been to a vette and GT mustang parade. It was rare to see a w210 E-class or any merc for that matter.

You and Timeless are SouthEastern, vs. So Cal. Demographic differences, no surprise. Here in Nor Cal there are more E's than C's. My block alone there are 7 E's and no C's.

i have both a Z06 and e55. IMHO the vette doesnt compare to the E55 in comfort and driveability, which is what i want in my daily driver. my e55 is my daily driver and my Z is my weekend toy, plus my vette gets about 10mpg in the city
