i geuss in the first video the E55 lefted.he released his fot from the throttle or he had some thing wrong.and the new CL looks Great.

Old vid and was disscussed in the CL forum a while back.

I mentioned this before. Put the sound up on your first vid and listen to the E55
You will hear it cutting power....that my friend is a the familiar sound of ESP cutting & rubbing power

either his tires are worn, or he does not know how to race his/her car,
but a race is a race

Got it, this is the info I was looking for. I just saw it for the 1st time so I thought I would ask around.

Looks like the E55 catches and passes the 63 in both those vids...although the first one could have been due to traffic in his lane.

Stop the presses, a 63 beats a 55??!!!! It has to be a bad intercooler or maybe even the supercharger was shut off...It has to be!!!!

Not that I care, but the video I saw the 63 beats it off the line and the 55 caught it and passed it or did I miss something

It does appear that way, but I would imagine the 55 is modded. Kind of ironic, because you would think it would be the other way around.

No offence, but have you had experience racing a proper running 55K, or is this bench racing experience ?

There is no mistaking the ESP cut off sound in the first vid, and if you have ever experienced how it can destroy your launch if its triggered and stays on for a good 1-2 sec then you would know...

like i said either bad tires, bad driver or a mix of both..mind you not triggering ESP is a very hard thing in these car on normal roads so i have to cut some slack

I lived in Korea for many years. Things just work differently there. I was referring to the appearence that the 63 pulled the 55 off the line, just the opposite of what is supposed to happen.

true, if you give the 55 too much throttle off the launch you will be seeing tail lights. thats for sure. if you roll into it nice and smooth, well then its .
