LET IS RELOCATING
Having experienced the devastation of Ike firsthand at the Houston location, LET will be shifting its entire operations to the Chicagoland area.
Unfortunately, this move means LET will be losing one of its founders, Erick Gunter. His invaluable contribution to this company and the modding community-at-large will be missed, as he focuses on his family and current employment.
As part of this transition, we must temporarily suspend hardware sales until all stock can be assessed and shipping operations relocated. This in no way affects software/tuning sales, which are already located in Chicago.
Another benefit of this move will be the addition of Wayne S. (ChicagoX) to the company, bringing his years of tuning experience to the table. Having started and operated a tuning company in the past, he was a natural choice for the team. He has been helping us over the past few weeks and this move wouldn't be possible without his help.
We sincerely apologize for any delays in communication or shipping due to this transition.
Our new shipping info and toll-free numbers will be up shortly; please check this thread or our website at www.letmotorsports.com for these updates.
Sincerely,
Jerry Thornton
Cars have been my passion since I could walk, and probably before. I have been an amateur drag racer for 19 years now, and couldn't ask for a more rewarding job than one that involves making cars go faster.

I look forward to working with Jerry, as he and Erick did such a great job on my car.
If you have any requests, suggestions, or comments, I'm here to help in any way I can.

There are only a handful of people that I ever let touch my car, yet alone drive it. And yes, the keys are here whenever you want them.

Good luck with the move and the New influx of operating cash!
I'm sure Erick will join the community once things settle down.
Jerry: Are you coming to So Cal anytime soon? Would love to get a group of E55's to tune at the same time.
Maybe OBD2 flashes?
Budget it tight, but I really do need tune.
My brief story: I started with a 60k mile stock E55 that was running 12.7s and 12.8s at the track with 107 mph trap speeds. My IC pump was sporadically failing and my car would go into supercharger shutdown mode more and more frequently. I reached out to ChicagoX, who at the time put me in touch with LET and CPT. I devoted a weekend of my time and drove out to ChiTown (KEEP IN MIND I LIVE IN NY) and the rest is history. I am now sitting on the second fastest stage 1 E55 on dragtimes (11.679 @ 117.84)!! And, this run was when the car was supposedly "hot". Since the mods, and more importantly the tune, I have NEVER run over 12 seconds. I have more passes at 11.7 than I can count, and the gains my car achieved with LET's tune and CPT's installation skills are staggering (55 hp gains and 100 tq gains!!). I have put several thousand miles on my car since the mods and tune. I have run my car at 5 different tracks in 4 different states (with varying DAs and temps) in the last 6 months and I am anxious to hit NED in NH this fall to go for the Stage 1 record at 11.666.
The time that LET (Jerry, Wayne and Erick) has spent with me on the phone, email and in person has been invaluable. They have increased my knowledge base about my car, and for that, I am truly grateful. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone seeking to learn about their car, mod their car, or simply have great conversation about these amazing machines we drive.
It doesn't matter where you live or drive. They will come to you, if necessary. They just proved this by making a trip to NY to fix a fellow E55 owner's stage 1 that was not performing as it should. Wayne came out, turned my garage into an amazing shop (not to mention, left it cleaner than when he arrived) and fixed AND tuned another gentleman's car to his satisfaction. Now, this individual is running stunning times at the track and is demolishing just about everything on the road.
These are just a few examples for which I am personally aware. I am sure there are many other success stories out there for Wayne and LET and I look forward to many more to come. Hats off to LET

Wayne, I cannot thank you enough for all of the time and effort you put into repairing and improving my car. You clearly have a passion for what you do and it is reflected in your work product. Best of luck to you, Jerry and LET.
Sorry it took so long to reply!
Let's get the trip scheduled!!! Who can we get together for a custom tune?
I have admired your work but remain cautious of tuning on 91 oct knowing the struggles other tuners had when tuning the Audi S4. A custom tune would put those concerns to rest if you are logging knock sensors correction voltages.
Keep us posted.
