Last night when turning car off there was a hissing noise that lasted about 5-10 seconds....since then, this noise happens every time i start the car, lasts 5 secodns, then goes away...seems like it's coming from the engine compartent...everything seems to be working as usual ....anyone know what that might be? thanks!!!

Next time you turn the car off and it makes that noise, look closely to see if the car is lowering while you hear the noise. If its the same hissing sound that mine makes, it's just the suspension bleeding air from the system to lower the car onto the stops.

With that said, I don't think I've ever heard the noise after starting the car, only after turning it off.
