I have the new unit in the SL and GL, and it puts the old DVD based COMAND to shame. nuff said. The new one is faster, ipod integration is ****ing amazing, DVD-A 5.1 music rocks, and standard Bluetooth integration.
Too bad its a ***** to change all the parts to get the new unit to work. The folks at Mid-City said it was around 7K just in parts plus labor. Otherwise, the new COMAND is awesome.
