VIN Look Up
Does anybody know of a website wherein you can type in your VIN and get all the prodcution info? I always like to see how many were built of what color, features, shipped to the US, etc.

Does AMG Private Lounge offer this info? Is there an official AMG registry? I know the National Corvette Registry has this type of info for Corvettes.

See if this works:

Mercedes club of russia has this free VIN decoder. Mine was not 100% accurate as far as listing the options go, but best I've found so far.

Thanks Serenity... nice find. The reason I wanted to do this is because I bought my car from the dealer and he said the car color was "black opal." He pitched this as a unique color. However, most people think it looks dark blue and sometimes black. So, I typed in the VIN and it says it is "emerald green black metallic." What does that mean? Anyway, whatever color it is it looks tasty.

Sorry to dredge this post up from the dead....
I'm trying to do my own legwork (search NOOB!)...but the russian site that most people have suggested in previous threads no longer works.
Does anyone have an updated link to a site that will do VIN decoding, or is someone here willing to help the FNG out???
Cheers!
