Longtube headers or 82mm Throttle Body?

Hey guys I was just smoking a cigarette wondering what my next mod should be. What will make more power, EC longtubes going from PLM shortys or an 82mm throttle body? I can't do both because I will be buying the prior design front bumper too. Thanks guys.

What is the list of mods? Do you have an 80mm throttle body right now or do you have the stock ones?

Longtubes since you still have your stock cats. If you had 3" race cats i would say get the 82mm.

you are primed for a 82mm with your mods. bruce at TTM has the only kit that is complete, and does not throw CEL codes.

Wonder what the difference is hp wise from shortys to long tubers?

I know longs are good for 40+ hp but not sure going from shortys. Bet its not even close to that much.

I guess if you are stock TB, then 100% 82mm. Mine picked up nicely with the 80mm. Must be really nice with the 82mm!!

You'll love the top end it picks up with it!

I think 82mm throttle body is the way to go. I should use the e550 82mm throttle body right? The thing is though I can sell my shorties and buy the longtubes for cheaper. Plus I have 3 inch cats sitting in my room right now. I don't know. How much is the thottle body from TTM?

It's a close call.... I think each of those mods would be good for +35 rwhp especially with a custom tune.

I guess I would go the 82mm TB route first.

I say screw the front bumper and give'em hell with the performance mods.

I vote to skip front bumper and go with Long tubes & 82MM TB.

Go with the long tubes, sell the plm's. Then the throttle body.
Get in on the group buy. They're high quality stainless, a work of art if you will.

I think I will just screw the front bumper just what Sun said. lol I can't imagine 60 more whp with longtubes, high flow cats, and an 82mm throttle body. Headers first then 82mm throttle body it is.

100% go with the TB.. try Bruce its an awesome kit... gains will be much greater going OEM TB to 82mm ... PLM shorties to long tubes will not give you anything near it.

Either route you decide you should have it tuned afterwards to optimize your gains.
If it were up to me, I'd go with TTM's 82mm TB kit.

I've heard nothing buy great things of the TTM throttle body, the only way to go,without a dobut. It's not even a question. Give Bruce a call.

Yes, TTM T/B kit has every nut and bolt for mating to the supercharger housing and NO cel will be thrown. It is all OEM MB stuff to and you will see a far greater gain done that first.

If you still want more, go for longtubes after the T/B, but in all honesty, at your power level, I doubt you will feel the difference going from PLM's to LT's.

PLMs mate to factory cats on which the inlet about a inch and a quarter. that is small any benefit from the better flowing PLMs is diminished right there.
TTM does sell a good 82mm TB kit.
Like someone said ditch the front bumper and get both. I am sure Vlad can install all this in a day
