ICE-Tuning Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake
Hi everyone,
I have to comment on my experience with ICE-Tuning. I just purchased their new Carbon Fiber Intake for my car. It is amazing to see in person! While driving the sound of the supercharger whine is SO loud its amazing!!
Here is a pic of it in my car. I was the car the company used to test fit the intake.
I have to find out with the mods, but ICE-Tuning say that they want to have a group buy for the first 5 intakes with cheaper pricing.
I hope this review helps! I love the intake and the personal service from them. Check them out Ice-tuning.com !!

So for that price, it includes, the airbox, cones, and engine cover? or is the engine cover and cones extra?

just go on their website and use the contact us email. It includes the cones, airbox, heat shields(not on my car in the pic), the engine cover was 200 extra, they simply covered my stock engine cover with carbon fiber.

looking forward to performance data. i'd also like to see a pic with the heat shields in place...otherwise it's not really a "cold" air intake is it.

Looks pretty good. eagerly awaiting dyno graphs... that is very pricey for steel pipes wrapped in carbon though. dont mean to sound like a negative nancy but its not much of a discount either for gb pricing. for that much why not use a thin wall aluminum? it disipates heat the best. as opposed to steel that retains heat a lot longer. i think this intake would sell well if it were half the gb price. it is not my intention to bash the product at all. I hope i did not offend anyone.. just sharing my 2 cents. thanks for posting aleksandar1099!

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but where is the cold air comimg from? What I see is hot engine bay air being sucked in...

there are two carbon fiber heat shields that wrap around the filters and connect to the inlets. I took them out for the picture to accent the filters for the picture.
blackbenzz- its not the oem box wrapped, it is 3" stainless steel piping mandrel bent, with a piece to cover the engine bay, all covered in carbon fiber

looks nice, would be nice to compare the VRP one and this one and see the differences... Rennntech and mkb or carlson have carbon air boxes aswell

I thought about keeping my CF box and doing that, but I was worried about the heat. Any IAT data? I assume there are no flat filters in there?
Definitely a gorgeous unit and fair price. I'd just want function. Is there no option for the goose neck (plastic OEM parts at the TB)?
