Tire decision time!

OK so it's time for me to decide what the heck I'm going to do for tires. I currently have worn 265/245 Conti 3s on stock staggered wheels.

At Jangy's urging I've purchased another set of OE 18's so that I'll be able to run 9" rears at each corner.

My driving is 75% highway, 25% other. I really like the idea of having the same size tire all around so that I can easily swap front to rear to maximize tire life. I won't be going to the track or drag strip at all but I do want much improved turn-in, grip, and overall better handling...as well as adequate traction off the line.

So I've been thinking 275/35/18 which I can get in PS2, Toyo T1R, and Vredestein.

Estimated delivered prices:

PS2: $1340
T1R: $920
Vredestein: $800

I've been assuming I'd just break down and get the PS2s. Should I really consider the others?

Any reason to just go 265 all around besides saving wear on bushings?

If you're going 9"s all round you better check with Jangy that the wider tyres dont rub at the front.
