Normal? Not upshifting in D..

Hello,

I was wondering if it was normal that the car does not upshift in D. After a hard pull in D I would let off the gas at like 6000 rpm and it'll just slowly come down without shifting up, is that normal?

Not sure if it's normal but my E55 does the same thing.

Normal. the software is programmed to stay in gear under the assumption you're in a racing frame of mind if you're stomping on it
