Need Advice shipping cars
Everyone on this board is very particular about their cars so I thought I could get some solid advice about shipping my cars.
I have to ship 2 out of my 3 cars: 08 ML350, 00 323i, 07 300c SRT8
So far I have a quote from:
This is the price to ship 2 cars enclosed:
enclosedvehicletransport.com for $3440
fedex for $3550
so about $1775/car
Cars are going from San Diego, CA to Chicago, IL. I got a new job and am relocating for it.
Has anyone used these guys before or can recommend a good enclosed transport option?
Thanks in advance.

Try USHIP.com youll find what you need...Its like ebay but they bid on your job instead of your item. You accept a bid that you think will suffice and your good to go. They tell you when they will pick up and drop off and you can check feedback and everything, and no I dont work for them lol

I've used Mcnutt autotransport before. $900 to ship from CA to NC and $475 from Alabama to NC. That's fully insured open trailer and they did a good job, no knicks dings, etc.
$3000+ is insane

$3500 is for 2 cars
$3500 is for 2 cars (about $1775/car). Is that still too high? I will take a look at that bidding site as well. Is enclosed shipping not worth the effort?

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Best I've ever used is....
Passport. They're owned by FedEx. Not cheap, but on time, clean, and easy to track. All the things that most shippers are not.

DO NOT GO WITH DAS AUTO SHIPPERS!! Trust me you will be let down. They have stations that the car goes to and sometimes will sit there for days on end being moved around and they aren't on top of their game.

Thanks for input
Thanks for all the recommendations. I will update this post with who I went with, cost, and the overall experience so the next person can also benefit.
I will miss the socal weather but I am happy to be moving back to Chicago. I guess my next MB will be an ML63 instead of the E63 I was hoping to get after the SRT8...

Very True!!!! Do not use DAS! I used them a few years back with my S500 and it showed up with a sliced brand new tire. I was pissed. Took them a long time to give me the money for a new tire.

Just got quoted $1308 to ship enclosed and insured from Longboat Key, FL 34228 to Beverly Hills, CA 90210. Good price? This was with Continental Auto Movers, anybody heard of them?

Continental Auto Movers has quoted me $1415 to ship the car enclosed from SD to Chicago and $2700 for 2 cars. $1350/car is the low range for enclosed so far. Basically it is always ~$400 more than a regular trailer.
I have a uship.com item up for bid but so far no bids other than DAS, which everyone here has thankfully warned me about.

Intercity
I am absolutely checking with Intercity, note they shipped that multi million dollar 1938 Audi Auto Union D Type. I am also checking with Reliable-Carriers inc.
