*** VRP VR675 Knocking on 10sec 1/4 ***
It is with great joy and a little sorrow that I make this post.
The sorrow part is that my good buddy Albert's (rflow) NON-NOS record in an E55 has been broken!!!!!!!!!
Albert has helped me tremendously through the years that we've known each other to get a winning combination of 55K go-fast parts. His car was the testbed for alot of the 55K parts. He has been at the top of the leaderboard for a long time with an 11.34 @ 123.81mph 1/4 without nitrous.
I've had a goal to get an E55 in the 10s without nitrous for a long time.. I always knew it could be done but we just never got there...
My friend and avid drag racer Nate (Nitrous Nate) was handed the torch. If anyone could pilot an E55 into the 10s it is him! Nate's car was equipped with our VR675 package a few months ago. He did some 1/4mile testing 2 weeks ago and came back with some 11.7s @ 121mph which told us we were still not dialed in.. After some ECU tweaking last week he decided to hit the track again today to see where we were at.
He just called from the track and was ECSTATIC!
He is at Mt. Park Dragway in Clay City, KY... He just ran a
11.05 @ 124.9mph!!!!!
He is trying to get into the 10s today... He is going to ice down the intercooler and try for a 10.99...
Videos and timeslips of the amazing run will be coming tonight once Nate gets back home.

Thanks everyone!!! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I thought for sure we would make history today but it didn't happen..
Nate just called me and said the best he could do was an 11.13 after that 11.05. Traction was a big problem and track got slippery. He's heading back home and will send me the slips and video so I can post it up.
------------------------------------------------
Nate's VR675 has the following mods:
VRP Sport Airfilters
VRP Overdrive Crank Pulley
VRP ECU tune
VRP 80mm Throttle Body Kit
VRP Cat-back Exhaust
VRP Long Tube Headers
VRP Cooling Upgrade Kit
VRP Race Cams
We still have VRP airbox and tubes, VRP Race Port heads with larger valves, VRP ported S/C, Bullet transmission, TCU upgrade and a bunch of other parts that we haven't installed yet on his car.

Congrats to Nate and Victor!!
I would bet, well in to the tens after the heads are done.
Keep up the great work.
Nate are you going to MIR? How about you Victor?

Nate's car is definitely putting some power down! Based on the performance so far, I think a 10.99 is definitely possible once we do the heads on this car. I am guessing the car will run a 10.55 - 10.60 once he hooks up the nitrous.
The car is plumbed to accept a WET Nitrous setup. Once we get the number we want for an all-motor pass, he will go for the Nitrous record.
Below is a scan of his slip he emailed me... Video will be following soon.

Nates Run
I was there in the Red C32. He backed the 11.05 run up with a 11.13 if I heard him right. I did not see it as I was in the hot pit waiting to run but some of my mates saw the pass. Impressive. Congratulations on the great run.
One of our mutual friends was there in his Red Porsche 911 Turbo. It too has had a few mods done to it. He ran a 10.99 at close to 130 mph thru the traps. As impressive as that is for a little blown 6 cylinder he is 80 years old and still puttin the pedal to the metal, lol. He went home happy.
