I have never had a problem with my set up and it passes inspection everytime!!!

I recomend spending the couple extra bucks and setting it up the right way so that you don't have to worry about jumping through hoops to pass inspection.

If you are in the South East Region of the country I would strongly recomend heading over to speak with Kevin Ingold at Benz dealership in Buckhead / Atlanta GA... I will post a thread about my experiance there.... nothing but Grade A all around that place!!!

2006 E55
I can't believe more people are not jumping on these. These are made from 304 stainless steel not just coated like other lessor quailty ones. They are true headers that will lower EGT's. IMHO this is the next step after a pulley.

I can't believe more people aren't all over these. I just had mine installed last week (so I have the full K2 kit) and I would HIGHLY recommend them; especially at this awesome price! Cory, you came through for me once again...

We've gotten such a great response from this special price, we have decided to extend this offer through Feb. 1st 2009! We are also including ECU programming to eliminate the check engine light due to the removal of the primary cats, and we are also force-setting the emissions readiness monitor for the secondary O2 sensors to keep the car emission compliant! So $1500.00 buys you headers, down pipes all necessary gaskets and hardware, as well as ECU programming to ensure the car passes emissions, and will not have a CEL.

I bought this deal a few months ago and it was one of the best mod decisions I have made to my beast. Not a single issue with my CEL and the car sounds and drives better than ever.

sound=amazing

power=amazing

product quality=amazing

Cory, this is definitely a great deal! I have enjoyed my Kleemann headers so far. Next step is the K3 kit with the cams, so let me know if you start running special pricing on these, too!

Dwight

Seriously though, for thos of you debating these headers, I say go for it! The sound and power increases are incredible and Cory is a stand-up guy to work with!

Can anyone from experience post hp and tq gains to the rear wheels after installing these headers? And I didn't read the entire thread, but these are longtube headers, if I'm not mistaken

It will pass the actual tail-pipe sample, and OBDII aspect of the test, but you'll likely have a problem passing the visual inspection. Our headers do not carry a CARB E.O. number.

For the rest of the week (Until the end of the day on Jan. 16th), I'll offer FREE GROUND SHIPPING (within the continental USA) to anyone who orders a set of headers directly from our USA headquarters. So that's $1500 shipped for a set of headers, down pipes and all necessary gaskets/hardware and ECU programming to eliminate the CEL. The only shipping costs you'll have to cover is sending/return for the ECU.

Correct- it will prevent the CEL from the lack of cats, and also keep the emissions readiness monitors active for OBDII emissions compliance. If you want a header-specific ECU tune which includes revised ign. timing maps, fuel, throttle response, speed limiter, etc. I can do it for an additional $500.

you'll see (conservatively) 10-12 HP at the wheels. I'll look around for some dyno sheets and post if I can find one....
