I've seen a handful of Wagons sell the past 9 mos and only one had Distonic and it sold on Ebay. Car was located in Chicago.
My post does sound like I'm selling the Wagon. I just wanted to inform members of this forum that a Wagon is available since they are rare and I'm not going to pursue this one. I just got off the phone with the sales person and I got numbers on extended warranty as follows:
In service Date: 6/05
Mfg Warranty Ends 6/09
CPO adds one year: extended to 6/10
Option to purchase 1yr/2yr warranty: $2395/$3995 ----- to 6/11 or 6/12
Basically MSRP of $3995 to extend warranty four (4) years - about $1K per year.

had distronic too. And I"m not in Chicago. I'm chasing another one, and it has Distronic as well.

Kidding aside. Smyth European listed an 06 Granite Grey Wagon, 31K miles for $49K (loaded except Dist and ipod) on Auto Trader last week. It sold in a few days at list price (so they claim). Damn those people in Silicon Valley have money to burn lol lol. Did I tell you that I flopped on color? I'm back to Silver. Black is too blingy for me. Good luck and congrats on the sale! I'm open to an 07 e63 if I don't find what I want in a 55.
