2008 E63 AMG
Re: sticky above ..the Panasonic In-Dash system..

I had looked at this last year, but couldn't find anyone who could install simply into the MB, with its odd DIN opening...

Anyone with a different experience? I liked the unit, and would probably use it if I could be reasonably assured that the install would look factory quality..

scosche makes a dash kit, it sucks. but it's a good starting point to do something custom with it. in the e55 the stock amplifier is on the MOST fiber optic network so in order to run an aftermarket navigation system you need to either replace all speakers or find a way to rewire the stock amp to be used.....but i just don't see that working

that does look much better than my schosche dash kit. however your pics were not from an e class which leads me to a question. are the oem radios the same in e class and your car ?

i bet they make a better kit for it, most MB owners wont put up with sloppy looking dashes.

nope, i have accounts with metra, american international and scosche which are the big ones. i tried. AMGFan's car looks like a custom made piece.

if you do come across a good one, please post.
