I have had a lot of cars but the E63 is by far the best car I have ever owned. I still can't get over the power.

 

And a few companies are coming out with very exciting mods pretty soon: intake, headers, under-drive pulley, exhaust, cams, and of course ECU tuing. Should be easily around 580 to 600 hp

oh man no mods for me! This thing blows the doors off 99% of everything on the road the way it is. Love the build quality and the power to boot. Amazing piece of machinery.

How fast does it feel compared to your C6?

 

Ditto! At least take off the charcoal filters.

 

Trust me, after a few months, you'll get used to the power, and you'll want more..... much more.... It's addicting

I'm not sure what it is, but its very easy to remove, and it adds a little power. The best bag for the buck I guess. Lol. Do a search, something should come up.

well maybe it is not so awesome. The car is now starting to shutter in reverse every once in a while. Anyone else have this problem??

 

no Im not having that problem and never had....
Make sure you can duplicate the problem before going back as they dont fix anything if you cant prove its broke.

 

boy it's a shame. It's now doing it every other time I back the car out of the garage. It is so bad now that the tranny locks when backing out and putting it in drive. The car dies instantly. 750 miles on this thing and it's falling apart. Sucks.

 

I'm just saying...

 

I'll just take it into the dealer. I'm sure it's just a bad part on the tranny or something. This actually did it the second day I had the car. I was just hoping it was a freak thing and would not happen again. I guess it is good now that it is doing it more so that the dealer can diagnose it and fix it. This is just not expected on a new 100K car. Oh well that's life.

 

Wait a minute, I thought you told the guys over on the cherokee srt8 site that the SRT-8 was the best car you ever owned! Did you get the P030 package? Lets see some pics of this baby!!!!

 

The Jeep is up there with this Merc. It's awesome. It goes like stink and it can haul all your crap. I'm not sure what the P030 package is lol? The car has everything bu the keyless start and the Zenon lights???? I will be taking pics this week of the thing. Just been so busy with moving in a new home and business. Plus we have a baby on the way in April
