Your SL55 weighs an EZ 300+lbs more than the E55 W211 Note the no (6) is using a 100 shot of NOS, & his TRAP speed is only 1mph faster than your best

We can go back and fourth all day....... How about this, I see that you live in So Cal. Right? I'll invite you over to my place and you can bring your mechanic to inspect my car for NOS (since you are so concerned). Also bring a car that you know runs 11.3xx and I will run you on the street and/or track right after your inspection. I wont wager $10,000 on the race, but I'll do it for the hell of it. Or maybe you can bring your 600tt for some action

GEt that posted up on the forums!
I got flamed for saying the E92 M3 had potential for 11's NA. People who don't have the car are the experts on it

My 60 foot was 1.950 with BFG drag radials on the 12.1 run, size 275/35/18. Definite room for improvement, the burnout with DCT is the issue but I will have that solved. A 1.8 puts me in the 11's.
Just trying to get my scanner to work.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
. Shawn and Terry had some problems with traction. Had it not rained that morning, we would've had twice as good of a traction. But still, all in all, the track was decently prepped. They sprayed VHT a few times when we asked them to, and the whole Famoso crew was first class all the way.The rain and humidity killed our DA a bit, which ranged from 0 to 400 ft all day long. I know it's no where near what they have at MIR, but it is very good for California. At Fontana, we usually run at a DA of 3200 ft and temps between 80 to 100 F
Only in January, we were running at 65 F and DA was still at 1600 ft

I'm never wasting my time with Fontana again.
The people at Famoso were nice, helped me out, and prepped the hell out of the track. They were honestly interested in everyone doing their best and having fun. It is much, much better to do an event like this than a public drag day where you can't run who you want or how you want or when you want.

Also the E55 records that weigh 300+lbs less
Just curious I gave'em a

If you really want to see what makes an E55 trap well, look at all of the mods and not just their sig.

I'm certain you'll give me a thrashing w/the #'s your putting up, but I LOVE racing
win or loose HAHA!!!!! Thericker does love to run!! I bet he already has URnext's phone number...

Of course I have studied their mods
Rick, are you sure that NOS is hooked up right? LOL! I thought you had something for my car bro, 11.7's...I run 1/10th quicker than that on motor, with stock tires in 90 degree heat and 90% humidity...But seriously, congrats on getting another 63 into the 11's
.Were both running VRP Pulleys? If so, which revision? If not, there you go. Did both have legit cooling? If not, again there you go. Did both have exhaust done? How old are their respective ecu files? If older than 3 months, do some datalogging and look for throttle position at the top end. I'd bet the slower trapping one isn't open 100% all the run....
