Would you allow spectators? I'll be driving down to LA from Norcal on Saturday morning and I was hoping I could stop by and check it out for few. Either way good luck and hope you guys have a great and safe time.

It's always been like that since my first post. I told you spots will be very limited and will be given to the first 10 people who send payment: first-come-first-serve. I even replied immediately after you asked about it in post # 43 here....
Regardless, its all good. Any word on what time we can start?

Went to Famoso today. It was so overcast that the track was wet. We had to wait till after noon before they would start the runs. So my traction really sucked. My best time was 12.17 seconds with almost a 2 second 60' time. Luckily my highest trap speed was 117.15mph.
Thats with stock exhaust, downpipes, and intercooler, etc

My mods are the JB3, tires, and high octane. Now the people on the other forum are accusing me of using nitrous!!
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191536
You guys will get some great traps if the weather is good.
The traction at the end was so scary I thought I was going to crash! The run where I did a 12.6 was at like 101mph.

I think these are the mods juicee had last time out at Famoso:
1) VRP530 (basically filters + UD pulley)
2) Light weight rims + drag radials
3) No spare & no tools
The ECU he had from EvoTech was somehow not installed right. It showed identical numbers to stock tune on the computer and on the dyno. His most effective mod was his persistent ECU training. He drove the car very aggressively for the first few years, taking it to track events, and even driving it hard on the streets. He pushed his car a little more than your average driver, and the ECU responded well. This saturday will be a good test to see how much of a role the lightweight rims played.

Juicee's car was not really heavily modded, but it would be nice to see Warren and juicee run side by side. I believe they ran almost identical numbers at Famoso earlier this year: juicee ran 12.11 @ 116 while Warren ran 12.19 @ 115 (can't remember exact numbers). LOL.... pretty close.

Last time at Famoso I ran a 12.13 ET. I had more power this time, but less traction!

I don't think I was using the ideal tire for a slippery track. M/T Street, bias ply tires on the rear. I think I would have been better off going with the Nittos. But I shaved about .10 off my 60' time, so it was worth it. It was very scary though. Part of the problem was that I lowered the tires to 18psi, which made things worse.

In order to recognize this event , this week on my catering truck I will be serving the following menu items
1. The M3, it gets eaten no matter what the ingrediants
2. The Vellano, Looks good but it likely will not fill you.
3. The 135, this is a version of the 335 but for the 12 and under folks
4. The 335, a potent blend of sugar and spice, usually too sweet to burn.
5. The E63, a very satisfying pork chop, eat one and your full
6. The SL55, a fat porterhouse cooked to perfection topped off with a CLS63 peppercorn sauce.
7. The BMW, any of our souffle's, baked many ways
