When i got the car was going too and I have to say it saved my front end on my 997 but I ended up never doing my e63. I am glad to say I really did not need too. The MB paint holds up pretty well and does not chip easily.

I put clear-bra on the bumper, hood, fenders, all front lights, mirrors, A pillars, leading edge of roof, entire rocker panels, and leading edge on the rear bumper on all my cars (on the MB, I also did the distronic lens in the grill).
It keeps them looking new and is worth every penny when you resell a nearly perfect car with almost no rock chips.
