I Normal tire wear? 05 E55
Just went through this myself, had to replace a damn front tire as the front nearside camber was WAAAYYY out and had resulted in the inner edge wearing to the steel!
Had it checked out on a Hunter alignment machine and the guys had to install a new camber alignment bolt to push the camber figure from something like -2.5 to -1.5... (don't quote me ... I'm going from memory).
I've heard that the camber values are set form the factory to GERMAN high speed Autobahn settings, and not lower speed US highway values... so there is a lot of inner edge wear to the front tires... the backs should be uniform wear across the tire, but with all that torque and a lead foot they wear quicker... the rear nearside (right) tire will wear faster as it's the more "driven" wheel without an LSD.
a new aligment to a less "aggressive" front camber setting should help with wear, unless you are hitting a high speed track (probably not too likely) and need it set that way.
