Trying to make it out. But wont be in a Benz.
Have you driven the streets before? If not I would say the SL does better at the big track. Streets tends to benefit light weight cars with very quick rates of transition.
Either way you will have a blast.
I do have great memories of doing a 1:32 second lap in a C32 (including the bowl).
Speedventures is a good group. Aaron Bitterman puts on a good event.

If you do take the SL out I would use your stockers if you have them. I have seen 2 SL55's go home on flatbeds simply because they had tire failures with 20's.
One blew a tire at the track and then I saw him on the 14 looking at his second flat with no spare left.
Just a thought.
