Throttle body hose

I finally got around to having my RT throttle body and headers installed. I bought the throttle body and adapter used. Everything is installed but the stock crankcase ventilation hose(its a formed vacuum hose) won't work. He said he would order the SL hose tomorrow. I'm wondering if there is any other way to make this work for now until the new hose gets here? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm getting anxious and I've been without my car for almost a week now.

Please Help. I know someone on here has done a throttle body install. I haven't seen this hose, but is there something special about it where you can't adapt another vacuum hose to make it work for a while. What if you just cut the old hose and plug both ends, would it hurt anything to run it that way for a couple of days?
