I thought you knew! Jay borrowed it back in November at the last event. My bad. You can borrow it at the track. Maybe it would make sense if you brought your own SD memory card so you can take it with you and download. You can download the software free online to analyze the data.

If the M5 can do it in 10.4 secs. Then the 55/63 should be about the same. I dunno about 10.9 secs
. Maybe the person left it in automatic and wasted time when the tranny kicked down.

10.9 is on the far edge of credibility for a stock E63 60-130, given the data out there. 12 seconds is more like it

1. Weather and road conditions
2. Optimization of gearing
3. Specific car
1. I am not sure what conditions Aaron's times were run under, but C&D did it in the following: 48 deg WET, 62 deg DRY Baro. 27.4 RH 35.7. C&D weather corrects its times. So their test of the E63 (given those conditions) would have corrected the timed #'s up because those were better than their "standard" correction condition. (see attached test sheet top).
2. Aaron being the master at 60-130mph optimizes the gear for a 60-130mph run. He may start the car in a higher gear to avoid an additional shift. Although the car may not seem like it is going faster at first can cut off as much as 1/2 a second by doing this optimization (obviously depending on the car's gearing and shifting speed).
3. The specific car C&D tested had only 1,546 miles. It seems like most performance cars today need some mileage to loosen up the engine a bit.
