I'm getting long tube headers and want to sell my VRP HEMs..........

What did these do to your car? I was always curious to know why they were so much different than a standard set of shorties

 

Also, how old are these and are they direct bolt on replacements? What is the warranty from VRP for second owners?

 

They were tuned to maximize the top end only. typical shorties try to add power accross the band, but I wanted MAX top end. They did that. I felt more top end and I think Vadim dyno'd about 20hp on them but dunno. Last thing, these are cheaper, since they take less labor to make and install.

 

These are about 6 months old, if memory serves. it was whenever VRP made their manufacturing run on these. I can find out. I have no idea what waranty is for first owner or second and that is a good question. I assume you mean warranty if the HEMs crack and not for your car. there is no warranty for your car, since it is a mod. Maybe VRP can chime in on how they want to treat clients that buy their parts used.

Thanks bro, I will. We are hoping to make them to be a bolt on straight from the manifolds to the resonator connections. those that want to cut and weld can and those that prefer to keep it a single piece to put back later can. Mine will weld into a custom X pipe and then on to the OEM mufflers.
