Is is Possible to put an R or GL Steering Wheel on E55???
Have an 05 E55, hate the steering wheel. Really dont want to spend $1500 on a Renntech wheel. I got a R350 as a loaner from the dealer today and really like the steering wheel better then what is in my car. The big PLUS was that wheel has the buttons on the back to shift. Does anyone know if it would be possible to put that wheel in an E55? You can pick them up pretty cheap. $500-600 with the airbag is reasonable. Thanks!!

MP Design streering wheels have nice wheels under $1k, and you can reuse your factory airbag. I have a Carlsson wheel in my E55, and probably going to stick an MP Design in my SL.

I went and searched under w211 and none of the wheels pictured has the shifter buttons.

$500-600 for the steering wheel? Just buy the whole R350, I hear you can pick them up (the entire vehicle) for not much more than that. They can't give those things away!
