Quote: Vid Please! Did you just replace the stock mufflers or change the entire exhaust from the headers back?
Just stock mufflers are replaced and straight pipes on the little section where the rear cats were. I will try to make a vid and post it this weekend. Haven't made one yet, so it might take me a minute to post.

I dont think that car has magnaflows on it.

Thats a pretty nice system with full stainless long tube headers plus 3 inch piping with x pipe-

that must of cost over 5K to build-

Those definitely are not Magnaflow mufflers. It also looks like it has a couple bullet resonators in there. It does sound quite nice though.

I just got mine finished up today. I will post a video after this weekend.

Primary cats only to Magnaflow dual in dual out with built in X-pipe (in location of old resonator). Straight out to the rear with a custom Y at each end sporting the OEM AMG tips.

Looks stock. Sound perfect now.......

This has a very aggressive tone and the drone is at about 1200-1600. Very streetable sound.

Of course this is on a C55.

Are you the test car? More info on this please! From what I gathered from other people's post, there is a droning with their setup. I'm sure this one will take care of that issue, but if you could confim that and provide more info, that would be cool!

i did put magnaflows on my car for a whole 2 days ... sounds terrible and bad droning inside car . wife wouldn't ride in car it was so bad ... took car to the dyno and lost power .. if u want ur car to sound like a truck or mustang then get them but honestly the stock mufflers are the best for the car... i have headers no cats or resinator and my car sounds great and not loud

That is so incorrect it's funny.

The "Bad Droning" is taken care of with a resonator box.

On the Dyno the cat back made 10HP and 15lbs/ft. the full system is closer to 25hp and 30lbs/ft

not gonna have words or get into it with u .. but stating the fact that my car which has no resonator or cats made a bad droning and the car was very loud ... again i have headers that removed my front cats and the rear cats and resonator have been off the car before i did any mods
