Anyone down for Sacramento Raceway January 3RD?
Is anyone from the MBWorld interested in meeting up at Sacramento Raceway next Saturday? I plan on getting a few more runs in before Famoso, my 60' time needs improvement.

I hear you. I was hoping to get a few of the bay area boys to join in. I guess everyone from the BA hates Sacramento. Either way I'm going to head up and see if I could get into the mid 11's.

I have a few things I may need to workout but I will see if I can make it. I may bring the TSX and let my son drive, I need to pick up some DR's for the 55 for that joint! anything less and I will be waisting $$$$

I just got back from there yesterday. 800 mile trip! But it was worth it. Its not crowded at all, people are friendly, and it only costs $50. I got into the 11's with my 335i sedan, and did a 12.06 in my 335i coupe yesterday. (so close!). Traction is hit or miss. Sometimes you do okay for a run, and then the conditions can deteriorate pretty quickly after that. Usually at the end of the day, its pretty useless trying to get a good launch.

I was in Sacramento the weekend before X-Mas and had a blast. It was my 1st time to the track with my E55 and traction was a issue. I was using Toyo T1R's street tires and I improved my launch on every pass, still getting to know my car. I finally squeezed a 60' time of 1.95 @ 11.8 with a 122.2 trap on my 5th and final run.

Hopefully some people around the area will chime in and join the fun. The last time I went there were a couple of Z06's and WRX's.
