The E63 is an amazing piece of machinery...
I got a chance to drive my E63 today and all I have to say is WOW!!!! It just amazes me every time I take this thing out. It's so incredibly fast it's hard to believe. I love the room inside of it. I love the quality inside of it. If you own a E63 you understand why the sticker price on these things is around $100K. Simply amazing. Forget the CTS-V! Forget the C63! Forget the M3/5. This thing is the real deal of all cars on the planet! That concludes my lesson for the day lol.

I have not driven a E55 but I could not imagine the torque would be that much greater. Other than the Torque, the rest of the E63 is far superior to the E55 and that it makes it more attractive. Actually, I could care less about more torque or HP. My E63 scares the crap out of me with the 265's on the back. I actually would not like any more torque or HP for an Avg Joe like myself. If you own a E55 you need to go trade up ASAP! J/K

2007 E63 AMG, 2009 V-Max
I really like the adaptation/interaction between me and my car: when I drive like what I am (a grandpappy x6) he senses it and becomes somewhat mellow, like starting in 2nd in S mode. I call it "paseomatic". But when when I am in my frequent pedal-to-the-metal mode he starts off in 1st and changes gears at a neck-snapping pace

2004 E55 AMG
The torque of an E55, especially with tune and basic mods, is simply outrageous. The 63 does not compare, BUT...the 63 feels like a better overall balance in terms of luxury sporty car feel.
As a trek fan, when the Enterprise wizzes off into space, thats what an unregulated E55 1st gear feels like.

If you added a lot more HP to the E63, you would not be able to control the wheel spin with the stock tires. That is not what I'm looking for. My E63 basically already burns the tires through first. Too much HP can be annoying. Well I should say too much torque that is.
