I understand all of your comments regarding " drive the car "
Just because my car is perhaps the lowest mileage 2004 E55 in the world does not mean that I don't enjoy it. It is driven as intended, maintained properly, and presents as new. I mean new! Besides, being an old school, things were hard to come by guy, I treat my cars like maybe I won't be able to afford one later. May not be a healthy approach, but what a great car for the next owner.
Sadly, along with all other prestige cars, the E55s are depreciating rapidly. However, did you think that maybe mine is depreciating less than most and may even be considered by some to be special due to its low mileage and pristine original condition.
Fire away!

Clearly your car is worth more than other 04 E55's with normal mileage. However in this economic condition, I'm not sure how significant the premium would be. Bottom line is that life is short and I'd certainly be driving it whenever the mood struck me (especially with fuel being relaively inexpensive these days). I'm finding it hard not to drive my AMGs when I know that practically speaking I should be driving my ML or VW for daily use.

You would find very few people that would purchase it for a significant amount over one with say 30k.

I did not post originally to make any point regarding my car being better than any other or that anyone should be sarcastically jealous of my E55. I was simply curious and asked if I had the lowest mileage 2004 E55. Sort of like someone has the highest mileage, the fastest, the most/best modded, etc.
I think some of you ( seems to be a minority ) appreciate a car kept like mine. Even though you may be suspect of my clear thinking and **** approach to E55 ownership.
Also, it seems like there are few members who are rationalizing owning their high mileage E55s and are a bit sad that their cars are worth so little in this market.

While I swap cars out all the time, I am much like you in that I want my cars to look NEW in every way no matter what. This being said, I have seen trashed cars with 1,200 miles and NEW looking cars with 50K miles so it all depends on how they are treated. So treat it well and consider putting a few more miles on her!
Getting your monies worth is all about smiles per mile!

My car is not an investment, it is a luxury toy. I didn't buy it to sell, I bought it to drive and have fun while doing so . I keep it clean, maintained, and drive the heck out of it. If it's worth nothing when I'm done then so be it.

I thought i had low mileage in my 500 (35k kms)! In fact you have about the same mileage as my 05 749 race bike which i bought new. Usage wise i only track it 6-8 weekends a year.

with all the ice and snow in the Midwest this is a serious bummer. I have not been able to drive the car for 3 weeks now. I don't know what I'm going to do. My Jeep SRT8 daily driver is holding me over but I'm seriously going through withdrawals. I may become an alcoholic over the situation lol.
Life is too short, they do have snow in Germany you know.

It's probably the lowest mileage '04 E55. What does it mean? It means you: 1: haven't driven it much and could have enjoyed it more, 2: still have taken the BIG depreciation hit everyone else has, 3: Have an extremely well taken care of and pampered car which the NEXT owner will throughly enjoy, 4: Your actual cost per mile my actually be higher than some owners because of the low miles when you factor in depeciation. On the flip side, you are extremely proud of your 55 and take great pride in ownership and enjoy driving it which is what it's all about.

I thought my '06 was low mileage with 35k on it, I certainly wish I drove it more! Just drove it to Vegas and back, even got some snow !! What a great driving car this is !! Loved it !! Can't wait to drive it out there again in a couple of weeks.
