Steering wheels noise...

I'll take it to the dealer as it's CPO till April, but when turning my steering wheel, especially almost at full lock, I hear some funky noise. Can't really describe it right now cuz I don't remember, but it's kinda loud. Almost sounds like a rattling plastic fan or something. Anyway, my car is lowered, think they'll try and f- with me?

if anything is rubbing in the wheel well, i'd assume the dealer would try to blame it on the suspension being lower as the cause of the issue... but then again, it depends on the dealer too... have you tried looking for any rub marks inside the wheel well?

It's not rubbing whatsoever. The noise comes from inside the engine compartment.

That'd be my guess. Thus why it's gonna go into service soon.

It's probably just low on fluid. The 1st winter that I had my car, it made a horrendous sound when steering one cold morning. Dealer topped off the fluid and it's never had a problem since.

I haven't checked the levels. I'll check it soon, thanks for the tip!
