Well, at least now I know bickering between different models is not reserved to 335's vs. M3's.
Personally, if someone ran their mouth about me and my car I would do the exact same thing. I'd call them out and tell them to put up or shut up.

Still waitin' for him to cover that $500.00, or should I make it a thousand? I mean really, since putting the stock 265's on the front makes all the difference in the world, it's me just givin' my money away. Palomar mountain is not willow springs. Even with slicks, an E55 isn't going to break 1:35. Once the date is set (or Jangy backs out completely) I vote for:

I agree. Some guy was on here a long time ago yelling he could do a 1:32 in a stock C32. He showed up actually (credit to him there) but he was on coil overs and had racing harnesses. So I went for a ride with him as I thought he was a safe driver. We ended up off turn 1 about 200ft. He threw the car into the corner at about 100mph and then tried to tell me that it was my extra weight the prevented the car from going into a 4 wheel drift. BS
So I spent 4 years with SMG C32 trying to get a C32 to break 1:36 ( a time set by full interior E46 M3's with mods and race tires). We hit 1:35 with worn tires and I think a good day and new tires would have given up a 1:34 (high) but there is no way a C32 could do a 1:30 any which way. We were beating that car to death. Suspension parts were literally being ripped apart.
And the poster who said that conditions are everything at willow is correct. I have spent days driving what I though were amazing laps after getting new engines installed in the BMW and when I looked at my times i could not figure out why it was only half a second quicker. Unless its an ideal day these lap times will be much higher than we all think. If its too hot or too cold its going to be all off.
