Not really since everyone is telling me they would prefer to pay at the gates. Just to give you an idea of what kind of cars that say they are coming in addition to you... C63, E63, CL600, CL65, S600, a couple CLK55s, W202 C55, I'm assuming jrcart with his CLK63 BS and Marko with his CL65, bunch of supras, RX7, some turbo BMWs, M6, C6 Z06, GTR, some fast vdubs, some Audi S4's, etc etc. There is always a good mix of cars/bikes and always fun

Yea, that would be awesome! But he should probably make solo passes because with that much power it must be hard to get traction and he can have the other lane to go into in case he needs it

Is your viper black and did you run at Imports vs. Domestics at MIR? There was a badass black turbo viper street car that was kickin some ***. Runnin low 8's or high 7's I think

It's not an SL nor a 65 but Stephen Selden sprayed his S600 with a 150 shot and ran 10.5@132: http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercedes-Be...lip-11883.html

I will try to be there...but it really all depends on when I get the VRP package. If I don't get it in time there is no point for me to drive out there and make passes...

There is never a bad time to go to the track and make passes

How about going to MIR on March 1st so we can get a new baseline before we do the VRP kit!

We are heading down around 10-11am Sunday, get set up in a hotel, get blazed and then blaze MIR on Monday. You in? Better check with the wifey.

We'll then go the next track rental(or E-town, Atco, etc) that Ahmad sets up after the VRP kit is in and run the ***** out of your 65 SON!!

Been meaning to ask this, Ahmad...the ETs and trap speeds at the November MIR event seemed to be better in the afternoon than in the morning or at noon. Do you recall the time of day for your 11.09 run?

Sorry Ahmad. I didn't check the date since I thought we were having it on a Monday for some reason. Senility at it finest. Definitely setting in at times.

Sorry for the brain fart!

+1 I didn't notice that either. The air seemed fairly consistant all day long, lol, well from the time we actually arrived.

Well, my times may be a function of me rather than the track, of course. I ran:

11:47 AM 11.8@117
12:08 PM 11.6@119
1:11 PM 11.4@120
1:17 PM 11.4@121

And I know that Ahmad ran:

1:11 PM 11.4@122
1:17 PM 11.2@123
3:42 PM 11.09@124

It's not a big deal but if I do make the trip back to MIR for March 1, I want to be sure I'm running during the sweet spot time-wise, if there is such a thing.

Earlier in the day I was running on 245 BFG d/rs and then jason let me borrow his 265 BFG d/rs. Dont know when the switch was made but was definitely on the 265s when it went 11.09

I think the best weather will change depending on the day. Let me go look at all my slips and see if the traps went up throughout the day. Maybe if I had iced down the engine I may have been able to crack tens
