*** VRP -FANGS- Intake for 55s ***
Ladies and Gentlemen, after number of requests we have decided to put our -FANGS- intake into production.
Intake features 3'' T304 polished stainless piping with K&N cone filters. On a stock car, the gains are 10-12RWHP on the car with more boost, headers and 80 mm TB, we have seen over 15RWHP. We have them available for all body styles.
Our goal is keep final cost well under $1000. I will have final pricing within next several days.

How will the final product look?
Chrome? Powdercoated? Etc...
What provides more power gains the carbon intake set up or this 'fangs' design?
I would be keen on this intake set up

Excuse me if this is a naive question? It seems like water from a wash or rain could possible hit the air filter fairly easy. Is this a concern?

As long as you're not immersed in a puddle there won't be any problems. You can probably make these yourself for under $300. I'd imagine it'd cost them well under that to make it.

I have an ATV with a wide open/exposed filter and have no problems. You can get some sleeves for the filters no problem. I like sleaves because it keeps big stuff from sticking to your filter like bugs and stuff. Just dont submerge the filter in water and you will be fine.

There is also a "bypass valve" that companies like aem make that you can place in the middle of the tubing to prevent hydrolock.

yeah but here the filter sit much higher than the intakes you refer too, there is absolutely not need for a bypass here. in order to hydrolock you need to submerge almost the entire filter under water and the filter sits pretty high - so if you hydrolock then go figure......lol

Vadim, you have two different mod coming out near the same time, Fangs and H-pipes...right? If I was to choose one which one would you recommend for my mods? I'll be going with one or the other, just not sure which one...

How did you get the piping to go though the stock radiator air intake holes?

Will this setup work with the "SLR coolers"?
