Well its all in which stall speed you get and if its the right setup for our cars and if you have tire to hook with it (also i dont know what the right stall is but i would imagine around 2500-2900 range) I think for sure you can see 3/10ths but i guess will see in due time.

No it's not a torque converter. I'm waiting for Mikey to install it and give his input on daily driveability. I would like to say but I'm sworn not to say anything yet. I promise you as soon as we get some proven dyno numbers it will be posted. As my car stands I think it has a 11.3 in her on a good day, so with the new mods I'm hoping for very low 11's if not high 10's but like I said hoping is a long ways away from doing.

I'm still waiting for a reply from Monster on the new motor comment.

Guess we will see then. Only other thing i can think is a HUGE Throttlebody, custom under SC intercooler, or an Alki Mist setup!

i just don't think there's that much room to increase the stall and not waste a stock drivetrain to give a 3/10's improvement in the 1/4mile. tq multiplication + 4300lb race weight + traction = broken parts...period! i'm really hoping for 2/10's but in reality expecting a tad less.

That will be enough to get you where you need to be...high 10's. I honestly believe with some low DA your car is already there. Now if you get 10's in Arizona just imagine what you're going to do at Famoso this fall....

I totally agree they are going to be breaking stuff with a real stickey tire but that is to be expected when you start running 1.5-1.6 60fts in any car. What Tq convertor did you decide to go with and let me know how you like it once you get it in. Also what are you current mods on your car now.

i have the let hstc and will hopefully get it installed this week. i have 178mm asp pulley, 80/78mm tb, slr cams, floored fab custom long tube headers/exhaust, floored fab custom h/e and reservoir kit, and let tune. i have a few other things but i wouldn't consider them power mods.

i'm running mid 1.6 60ft times now so i'm hoping for mid 1.5's afterwards.

Very nice mod line up look forward to seeing what you get out of this setup with the new HSTC keep us up to date. As for those headers do they still sell them and what is the price on that setup?

Thanks
Justin

We are on the same boat. I'm aiming for low 11's and possibly high 10's on an awesome day...
