Dyno Number from this wkend

Well this wkend I got a chance to get my car dynoed. Mustang dyno 1.10 correction factor as per lane_change.

03 E55 with 48k miles and VRP550 package

Dyno pull was done in 3rd gear.

Hp 387 x 1.10 = 427
Tq 458 x 1.10 = 503

I chickened out and did not take my car to the drag strip.

Not directed at you personally, but a broad frustrated question of why the heck are all you guys dynoing in 3rd!!!????

4th gear is your 1:1 ratio and you are modded so no worries on banging off the limiter at 155.

Cory at Kleemann knows more about AMG then I will ever hope to know, and if he dynos all his cars in 4th.....it's fine for us. All the talk on detonation and lack of air flow is bunk. My car NEVER hit 570 rwhp until I literally begged and pleaded for it to be done in 4th, then voila!

Whew I feel better. Just had to get that out.

Nice numbers BTW.

i know the dumd*** dyno guy did lane_change's car before mine since his car did not have a tune it maxed out at 155, so the guy though my car will also max out at 155 so he did it in third. i should have told him. what is the mutiplier to get the 4th gear numbers.

Our VR550 Power package consists of our 2piece Crankshaft Overboost pulley kit, a set of high flowing air filters, and a custom ECU upgrade to allow your stock 55K series engine to produce approx. 465rwhp and 512rwtq.

taken for the VRP website

i am using 1.10 which is a very consevative correction factor.
