I think it was chrome plated first and then taped up to be painted after. The reason I say that is because I removed a tiny bit of over-spray from a window on one of the centers.

that is sick! white E63 w/ pano is just so beautiful! i usually do not like aftermarket wheels but i like the style of yours. the size might be a little big for my taste but yours looks great! good job you have a beautiful car. i hope to have either an E63 or C63 next year....
